Join the Respect, Cultures & Behaviours and Students' Union for an informal and welcoming event focused on raising awareness of hate crime, how to report concerns, and the support available to students.
The session will provide a safe and accessible space to learn more about inclusion, allyship and respect, while giving students the opportunity to ask questions, share perspectives and connect directly with university support services.
The event will include a short presentation on hate crime and reporting options, an interactive discussion/activity, and opportunities to meet representatives from relevant support teams. Campus Security will also be invited to provide practical advice on personal safety and demonstrate the SafeZone app, including how students can use it to access help and report safety concerns.
A light buffet and refreshments will be provided, helping create a relaxed atmosphere where students can meet others and engage in conversation.
