Come to the MenB vaccine clinic at Peel Park Quarter on campus to receive your first or second dose of the vaccine for free. This event is organised by the UK Health Security Agency and is delivered by the NHS.
Eligibility for the free vaccine is open to:
- Young adults born on or after 21 July 2001 who are starting (or have started) their first year at university
- Young adults born between 1 September 2007 and 31 August 2008
Clinics are open to anyone who is eligible for either their first or second dose of the MenB vaccine. If you received your first dose during Welcome, you are ready for your second dose. You don’t need to live at Peel Park Quarter to attend.
Getting vaccinated is an important way to protect yourself, so if you’re eligible, we encourage you to take advantage of the weekend clinics and come along. Protect yourself and help us keep our University community safe.
Clinics are being held on both Saturday 17 October and Sunday 18 October from 12:00 to 17:00.
