FAQs

Who can attend the Clearing Visit Day?

Anyone who has received a clearing offer for 2022 entry can attend the Clearing Visit Day.

Can I bring family and friends

Of course! Choosing a university is a big decision, so we’d absolutely encourage anyone who is supporting you to get involved and join you.

Can I speak with my course tutor?

We will have representatives from all subject areas who can speak generally about our courses but you may not be able to speak with your specific course tutor.

Do you have support for students with a disability?

You can let us know about your access requirements when you book onto our Visit Day. We’ll then work with you to do everything we can to support you. You will also be able to have a one-to-one appointment with our disability and wellbeing team on the day.

If you would like to check our campus for its accessibility, we have worked closely with AccessAble (the leading provider of access information for disabled people in the UK) to produce an assessment of our campus and facilities. This work has provided detailed information about our access; find out more about their assessment of our campus and facilities.

Find out more about accessibility on campus or contact us on enquiries@salford.ac.uk.

Please contact disability and learner support for study-related support.

Health and Safety

In line with the latest government guidance, masks are not mandatory on campus. However, you are welcome to wear one if you feel more comfortable doing so. You will also find sanitisation points around our campuses, which you are welcome to use.

If you develop Covid-19 symptoms

If you have booked a place on our Visit Day but develop Covid-19 symptoms before you are due to visit, please stay at home and do not visit our campus. Symptoms of Covid-19 can be found on the NHS website.
