There's a mix of food and drink spots dotted across Peel Park Campus that are suited to different needs and schedules. At each outlet, you'll also find a range of gluten-free, vegetarian, vegan and halal options.
Maxwell Restaurant
Maxwell Restaurant in Maxwell Building is a spacious restaurant with plenty of seating. With six themed menus on rotation, you can experience the flavors of Mexico one day, the spices of India the next, and tuck into classic Italian favourites on another.
All of our chicken, beef, and lamb dishes are halal.
You can also enjoy fish and chips every Friday and build your own breakfast sandwich every morning.
The jacket potato bar is available throughout the week as well as mini pizzas on the hot counter.
Small main meals portions cost £3.95 and larger portions cost £4.95.

Nestled within Clifford Whitworth library, this is the ideal spot to grab a coffee and enjoy a fresh pastry while you work.

The Old Fire Station
Owned and operated by the University, The Old Fire Station is an independent coffee shop, café and bar, and a great place to get Barista-served, ethically sourced coffee together with freshly prepared food, artisan sourdough breads and amazing pastries, all baked fresh in their in-house bakery.

Maxwell Shop is stocked with a variety of snacks, drinks, and ready-to-eat meals, making them ideal for grabbing something quick between lectures or to take back to your desk.
You can also enjoy barista-made hot and cold drinks served by Costa.
