Our student ambassadors are looking forward to meeting you for your upcoming campus tour! Before you arrive check out the information on this page to find out more about what to expect from your visit, including how to find us.
What to expect
Your campus tour is due to start at 13:00 and our student ambassadors will be ready to meet and greet you from 12.45 at your respective campus.
If you are running late to your campus tour please let us know by phoning our enquiries team on +44 (0)161 295 4545 and we'll pass your message on to the ambassador delivering your tour.
If, when you arrive, the tour has set off please let the reception staff know and we will do everything we can to ensure you can still join the tour.
Please allow for up to 60 minutes for your campus tour. At the end of each tour you'll have the opportunity to view our on campus accommodation, Peel Park Quarter. Just let the ambassador know if this is something you're interested in and they can point you in the right direction.
We really encourage you to make the most of this time with our student ambassadors! Ask them as many questions as possible about student life at Salford and our campus facilities - they're more than happy to help!

Peel Park campus
When you arrive on campus please head to our SEE building (number 12 on our campus map). A student ambassador will be there to greet you and register your attendance when you arrive, please head to the reception desk if you are unsure where to find them.
Please note, a large part of the Peel Park tours will be outside.
MediaCity campus
When you arrive on campus please head to the reception in MediaCity (building number 28 on our campus map). A student ambassador will be there to greet you and register your attendance when you arrive, please head to the reception desk if you are unsure where to find them.
Please note, if you would like to view our Peel Park Quarter accommodation this is based on our Peel Park campus. The student ambassador will point you in the right direction after the tour but please allow up to 30 minutes travel time.
Frederick Road campus
When you arrive on campus please head to our Allerton Building (building number 20 on our campus map). A Student Ambassador will be there to greet you and register your attendance when you arrive, please head to the reception desk if you are unsure where to find them.
How to find us
By public transport
If you are able to join us by public transport, we are easily accessible by train and bus, with Salford Crescent train station located directly between our Peel Park and Frederick Road campuses. MediaCity campus is accessible by tram, as well as bus.
By car
If you’re joining us by car, we recommend using the following car parks depending on your campus:
- Peel Park: Please use the Lowry/Delaney accommodation car parks (M5 4NJ) or Irwell Place car park (postcode M5 4WT).
- Frederick Road: Parking is available at Frederick Road using the postcode (M6 6PU).
- MediaCity: There are several private multi-storey car parks at MediaCity, the closest to us being the Garage car park (M50 2TG).
Please note you will need to pay for parking at all campuses on the day of your visit.

FAQs
Will I be able to speak to a tutor on the day?
The tours are conducted by student ambassadors and members of the Recruitment team. There won't be any course content on our campus tours, as the tutors will not be available on the days. However our team will be able to answer any general questions you have about studying at Salford.
Will I be able to see course-specific facilities on the day?
Our campus tours offer a walk through of the entire campus, including study spaces, eat and drink outlets, an overview of each building and more. Due to teaching, we won't always be able to show every course-specific facility such as labs or simulation suites. You will be able to view these spaces at one of our upcoming Open Days.
Can I bring family and friends?
Of course! We recognise that choosing a university is a big decision, so we'd encourage you to bring a guest.
Do you have support for students with a disability?
Yes. If you have a disability, please tell us your access requirements when you book. We’ll then work with you to do everything we can to support you on the day.
