International Women’s Day (IWD) is celebrated on 8 March every year. IWD has been celebrated for over 100 years and aims to celebrate women’s achievements, raise awareness of discrimination and work towards gender parity.
This year's theme is 'Accelerate Action' to emphasis the importance of taking active and swift steps towards gender equality.
