Events

We've created a schedule of activities to welcome you to Salford, help you meet new people and get settled in to university life.

Welcome Week starts from 7 September and events will take place across all three campuses (Peel Park, Frederick Road and MediaCity). From large-scale events such as a campus roller rink, societies fair and makers market, to smaller events such as craft workshops, you'll be able to try all sorts of activities, pick up a new hobby (or rediscover an old one), and explore different social groups that you're interested in.

Tip: Don’t fall for external companies selling ‘Freshers’ wristbands to exclusive events. We organise all our events and list them on our website. Any club nights that Salford SU run will be organised and booked directly through their website.
