Welcome events

There are a few events and activities taking place to help you settle in and meet new people.

From 11 - 22 May, there will be some activity in the GMIOT building foyer where registration/International Check-in takes place. There will be opportunities to meet your support teams, grab a coffee and network, or play some games.

You can also keep an eye on everything going on around campus on our weekly What's On blog.

We run different events throughout the year that you can attend (keep an eye on the Student Hub, student socials, your student newsletters, and the SU website for those!).

You could also attend our International Community sessions taking place on Thursdays from 5:00pm - 6:30pm.

There will also be some events from your school to help you settle into the learning systems and access support. You will get an email from Salford Business School with more information at the end of April.

Tip: Don’t fall for external companies selling ‘Freshers’ wristbands to exclusive events. We organise all our events and list them on our website. Any club nights that our students' union run will be organised and booked directly through their website.
