The University of Salford has been ranked in the top 10 of a national league table for its physiotherapy programme.

The Complete University Guide, which is published annually, provides independent UK university rankings and course information across 70 subject areas.

The physiotherapy course at the university was ranked in ninth place overall, scoring 95% in student satisfaction and 100% for graduate prospects, a guide to the success of graduates on completion of their courses. It was the second highest scorer in the North West.

Louise Henstock, Lecturer in Physiotherapy at the university, said: “We’re delighted to have achieved a place in the top 10, a rise of six places on our ranking last year. It is especially rewarding to see that student satisfaction reached 95%, the highest score of any university in the table. This is a fantastic tribute to our wonderful students and staff, who consistently work really hard.”
