Location, Location, Location! The Hidden World of the Location Manager gives attendees the chance to gain knowledge from industry insiders on what it takes to become a Location Manager. The talk will give exclusive tips on how a Location Manager operates and how location can really affect the script of a production.

The panel will be chaired by LA Smith, Talent Development Executive of Red Production Company (pictured), alongside Jack Thompson, Technical Director of Manchester International Festival, Jonny Shelton from Creative England and many more.

Nancy Porter, Creative Opportunities Coordinator in the School of Arts, Media and Creative Technology, said:

“We're continuing our theme of hidden roles within television to give students an insight into the less thought of career opportunities for which the media industry is looking to recruit diverse and new talent to. It's a great opportunity to come and spend an hour finding out more about what a Location Manager does and what skills you need to become one.”

‘Location, Location, Location! The Hidden World of the Location Manager’ is available to book now.
