We are delighted to host the second joint Trent International Prosthetics Symposium and UK ISPO National Member Society conference in Salford, Greater Manchester on March 20-23, 2019. The theme of TIPS/ISPO 2019 is “Moving beyond the lab”. We are now beginning to see studies exploring real world use of prostheses and the results are opening up exciting opportunities to understand the complex mix of design, clinical and personal factors which may lead to a prosthesis which is real value to the patient in their everyday lives.
