Chaplaincy and faith advice
The University Chaplaincy works alongside the other support services in the University and the Students’ Union and is open to people of all faiths and none, the team are based in Faith Centre, University Road (behind Chapman Building).
Chaplains are appointed to serve all members of the University, students and staff, whatever your convictions or beliefs. You can talk to a Chaplain about anything you like - we don’t just do religion, and all conversations are confidential.
You are welcome to drop in at any time, the Chaplain will talk to you about any matter and can be contacted outside normal university hours.
The Chaplains also organise social, and faith-based events throughout the year. Visit the University Chaplaincy website for more information.
Salford University Chaplaincy offers you:
- Confidential advice and a "safe space" to talk
- Spiritual help at times of need or if you'd just like to explore
- Friendship and support
- Information on places of worship for all faiths
If you’d like to be a volunteer chaplain we’d love to hear from you. We’re keen to engage with communities that aren’t currently represented in our team as we develop our services and offer students and staff a diverse and cohesive experience at the Faith Centre.
