What to do after receiving an offer

Students walking on campus

Discover what happens after you receive an offer from the University of Salford, including how to accept your offer, meet any conditions and plan for your studies.

Read your offer carefully

Once you receive an offer, check what it asks you to do and note any deadlines.

Your offer will explain:

  • the course you have been offered
  • whether your offer is conditional or unconditional
  • any academic or non-academic conditions
  • how to respond
  • any relevant deadlines

You will also receive the University's terms and conditions with your offer. Read these before accepting your place.

This page is a summary of our admissions process, including how we assess applications and make offers. It does not replace the University's Admissions Policy, which remains the authoritative source of information.

Respond through UCAS Hub

Respond to your offer through UCAS Hub. Your response deadline will be shown there.

Meet your offer conditions

If your offer is conditional, check every condition and make sure you understand what you need to do.

Undergraduate applicants must normally meet their offer conditions by 31 August in the application cycle, including applicants who have deferred their entry. Make sure we receive all the results on which your offer is based by this date.

All conditions must be met before you can register as a student.

Check for updates

Continue to check:

  • UCAS Hub
  • your emails
  • your applicant communications

Respond promptly if we ask for further information or evidence of your qualifications.

If you meet all the conditions of your offer, we will confirm your place through UCAS Hub.
