The QS World University Rankings reputation survey

Pair of hands holding a globe

The QS World University Rankings is one of the most recognised global university ranking systems, which serves as a key resource for students, academics and institutions looking to understand how universities compare worldwide.

A key part of the measurement process is a short academic survey issued by QS in February/March, which measures the reputation of institutions and their programmes.

You can contribute by signing up to receive the QS academic survey

Your responses will be combined with those of many others around the world to form reputation indicators used in the QS World University Rankings at global, regional, subject and programme levels where relevant.

If you agree to receive the academic survey, we'll pass your contact details (name, job title, institution and email address) to the QS, who will send the survey to you in February/March.

There’ll be a maximum of three reminders and the resulting data will be used in aggregate form only. QS will not contact you for any other reason, or for more than two editions of their annual survey, without supplementary or separate consent. Your details will not be used for any other purpose (more information can be found on the QS support page.)

If you are an academic external to the University of Salford who is affiliated with an educational institution, please sign-up below to receive the QS academic survey by Friday 17 January 2025:
