Present on every platform and every channel, good, engaging video has become THE marketing tool, with audiences about 10 times more likely to engage, embed, share and comment.

Done correctly, video can be the most memorable and effective way of getting your brand message across – keeping customers engaged longer and extending conversations. Overview

Using easily accessible equipment, you’ll learn how to plan, conceptualise, shoot and edit a video to effectively enhance your brand’s messages, target, build and engage your audience. Finally, you will explore tools and strategies to measure video performance in relation to your marketing objectives.

This course has been developed by two top industry professionals, Kate Cocker and Andrew Lindsay. Kate and Andrew have collaborated to devise the perfectly balanced approach between hands-on, practical video making, and key tips on how, when and why to use video to plan and measure its effectiveness.

Andrew Lindsay is a writer and broadcaster with nearly two decades of industry experience, who continues to work at network and international level for the BBC, having spent eight years at ITV, where he trained as a video-journalist. Kate is a former BBC producer, whose clients now include BBC Academy, Bauer Academy and C4 Talent.

With 20 years of experience in media, Kate is an award winning producer, an established guest speaker at media events, and personal coach to rising stars in media and business. Through her work with BBC and various commercial radio stations, Kate built her reputation by developing creative content that captivates audiences and compels them to tune in for longer.
