The Online Classroom Joining Instructions

The Online Classroom: Zoom

We will be delivering your course through the virtual learning platform, Zoom. Please find the Zoom link, along with the Meeting ID and Password in the initial email we sent you.

Within two weeks of your course starting, you will also receive an email calendar invitation, which will also contain the Zoom link, which you can paste into your browser.

In preparation for your course and in order to benefit from the many features on Zoom, such as live chat, polls and breakout rooms for group activities, we recommend that you download the Zoom app to take advantage of the full experience. You will need to create an account, if you don’t have one already.  Please follow the following link for further support and help on downloading Zoom https://zoom.us/support/download.

Please also remember that to be able to enjoy your virtual classroom environment without any disruption, you will need to be connected to a broadband with a speed of at least 1.2Mbps. You can test your internet speed using this link: https://www.speedtest.net/

Zoom Etiquette

Please note the following etiquette we expect from all our delegates attending one of our virtual courses:

  • We expect all delegates to have their cameras on during the sessions to engage fully with the tutor and course content.
  • We expect all delegates to be kind, professional and respectful to each other throughout the sessions.
  • We expect all delegates to actively participate and contribute throughout the sessions to make the most out of the course.

Course Materials & Pre-Course Content

Additional information regarding course materials and any pre-course content that will need to be completed (if applicable) will be shared with you closer to the time.
