B2B Marketing Executive (Part Time - Fixed Term Contract)

Role Detail

Reporting to the marketing manager, the role holder will create and manage a series of targeted B2B marketing campaigns for our training courses and conferences via email campaigns and social media. You will also manage the company social media pages and assist both the marketing and sales teams with data-driven analysis. 

The role requires a commercially minded individual who has a flare for creating effective lead generation campaigns via both social and email platforms. Strong analytical skills and attention to detail will be required to review all campaign and website activities to ensure accuracy.

Strong interpersonal skills will be needed to help build productive relationships with partner networks and your colleagues.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Build, schedule and report on all email marketing campaigns, focusing on quality and conversion, with the aim of generating qualified leads for the sales department and direct bookings for our conferences
  • Managing and updating the CMS and Website
  • Managing the company’s social media presence
  • Create and nurture relationships with partnership organisations and third-party suppliers
  • Identifying and understanding target audiences for a number of different products and services
  • Work with the sales team to create sales opportunities
  • Assist in market research and data analysis projects to target gaps in the market or changes in buying behaviour

Requirements

  • Qualification in marketing desirable
  • Marketing experience from a B2B background, ideally from the training or events industry
  • Experience with managing company social media accounts
  • Experience of creating engaging and results driven email campaigns
  • Self-starter, self-motivated and independent thinker who is also a strong team player
  • Analytical individual able to analyse customer trends/interests and turn this data into benefit driven campaigns
  • Knowledge of PPC and Paid Social Media Marketing desirable
  • Experience updating CMS platforms
  • Strong communicator and influencer
  • Strong commercial awareness
  • Well organised and structured in business processes
  • Target driven and highly motivated with the ability to work to deadlines

This role detail is a guide to the work you will initially be required to undertake.  It may be changed from time to time to meet changing circumstances.  It does not form part of your Contract of Employment.
