AI for Senior Leaders Case Study
Our AI for Senior Leaders is a one-day programme designed to explore the transformative potential of generative AI in business and organisations. This course provides a practical understanding of AI and generative AI, exploring their opportunities, limitations and business value. Participants gain hands-on experience with tools such as ChatGPT, MidJourney and ElevenLabs. They learn how to refine AI outputs to align with brand objectives, build AI-enabled workflows and address ethical, legal and practical challenges. The course ensures they leave with actionable skills to apply AI effectively in solving real business problems.
We spoke with Helen Cooper, Head of Marketing, who recently completed the course and offered her reflections in this testimonial interview.
What inspired you to choose this course?
I signed on to the course today because AI is happening, and all technology is moving fast. If we want to stay ahead and maintain a competitive advantage, it’s something we need to be using.
What have you learned from this course?
I've got lots of interesting practical tools that are going to help my team and I on our day-to-day tasks. We’ve also covered some insight into AI ethics, and later today we’ll be moving into strategy and policy making. I think AI is important in all areas of marketing. Whether it's strategic or whether it is on the more sort of day-to-day task-oriented things, it's going to save us time. From copywriting to videography.
Do you think AI is important for all businesses to learn?
Absolutely. I struggle to think of any business that wouldn’t benefit from gaining knowledge about AI. Just because you’re not engaging with it doesn’t mean your competitors share the same mindset.
Do you think this course will help your business and your work in the future?
I hope this will help me make the business more efficient, particularly supporting the marketing team. I also want to get the best out of AI while keeping that personal touch for our customers.
We also had the chance to interview Katie Silvers, another delegate on the AI for Senior Leaders couse. Here is what she had to say about it.
Why did you choose this course?
I really wanted to get a better understanding of what’s out there in the market. I’m already using lots of AI tools, but I know I’m probably missing some. I also want to see how AI is being positioned for senior leaders across businesses and learn from colleagues about how they’re applying it. Since it’s an emerging area with so many new tools, it’s good to get in early and explore how you can apply it.
Do you think AI is important for all businesses to learn?
Absolutely, especially generative AI. It's not even the future. It's here.
And if you’re not using it, then you’re already behind. It’s better to start engaging with it now and understand it as it evolves and changes, because it will keep evolving, and we need to stay on trend.
How do you think this course will help your business and work in the future?
I think it’s really been about reiterating a lot of the things I was already doing, but having the reassurance that I’m on the right track is really positive. I’ve also taken away ideas from colleagues that I can apply to my business and day-to-day workflows. I usually stick to the same three or four tools, but now I’m planning to try out others, compare and contrast, and as the market evolves, I hope to keep exploring and adopting new ones.
