The School covers an outstanding range of academic disciplines across all areas of biology, environment, health, geography and wildlife conservation, hence providing a very eclectic, stimulating, interdisciplinary hub for undergraduate and postgraduate education and cutting-edge research.

We put much emphasis on the future employability of our students and this is reflected through our significant engagement with industry to facilitate training and placement opportunities, and through the strong links we forge, both nationally and internationally, to provide opportunities to work and study at sites across the UK, Europe, Asia and North and South America and more.
