Salford and Jordan

Students in a lecture theatre

At the University of Salford, we welcome students from all over the Middle East and the Arab world. Jordanian students have been studying with us for many years. We also have many Arabic-speaking staff members who will join us in making you feel very much at home here.

Arabic is also widely spoken in and around Greater Manchester. It’s easy to find great restaurants, takeaways and shops selling Arab food. There are also a number of mosques within easy reach of our campus.

Jordanian students come to the University of Salford to study a wide range of subjects, including business, management, finance, science, engineering and health sciences.

We have a good network of approved agents representing us in Jordan, who can assist you with your application to the University of Salford.

Salford is very easy to reach from Jordan. You can fly with airlines such as Royal Jordanian via London, or Turkish Airlines via Istanbul. Our campus is within easy reach of Manchester International Airport by taxi or public transport.

The Greater Manchester area is a great place to live. Being one of the largest students cities in Europe, you’ll never be short of something interesting to see and do here. There’s a brilliant nightlife scene including restaurants, cinemas, live music and theatre venues. You can also see two of the world’s most famous football teams: Manchester United and Manchester City.

As one of our students, you don't just become a member of a student body, you will join our community. You will be taught by experts in their field who pride themselves on their links with industry. We look forward to welcoming you to the University of Salford.
