Salford and Iran

Around 56 Iranian students were registered at the University of Salford during the academic year 2010-11.

Many programmes at the University of Salford now also offer a January start-date which is appealing to Iranian students.

International scholarships

If you’ll need financial help to study abroad, we offer scholarships and bursaries worth up to £5,000. These include our Vice Chancellor’s Scholarships and several course-specific bursaries.

3 year High School Diploma AND Iranian Pre-University Certificate (Peeshdaneshgahe) at 13/20 OR Kardani Associate degree at 13/20 OR Kankur (national University entry exam) at equivalent mark OR recognised UK foundation programme.

Postgraduate

Degree (Karshenasi, aka Licence) 13+/20 (state/ public uni) or 14+/20 (private uni).For prestigious uni, the scores reduced to 12/20 (state/ public) or 13/20 (private). Prof UG Doctorates - 11/20.
