To help increase the number of women studying construction-related degrees, AECOM has partnered with the University to launch a scholarship, and we are extremely proud to be working with an industry partner that shares our vision for encouraging women into the built environment and STEM sectors.
AECOM Women in Construction Scholarship
The Scholarship launched at the beginning of the 2021/22 academic year, providing a female student from a low-income background with financial support for the duration of their degree. AECOM's Scholarship not only provides a non-repayable award, but is a life-changing opportuntity for the recipient.

Scholarships of this nature are extremely important to the University, helping to provide greater support to students who may otherwise be deterred from studying due to financial constraints; we would like to thank AECOM for helping our students to realise their dreams.
