Virtual Open Day

If you’re interested in studying one of our distance learning courses, we’re holding a Virtual Open Day on Wednesday 1 March from 17:00 – 18:00. You can register now to receive an invitation to this online session. On the day, you’ll get the opportunity to hear from our expert academics.  You’ll also get more information about the funding options that could be available to you.

We offer over 100 part-time and distance learning postgraduate courses, enabling you to fit postgraduate study around your existing commitments. As a part-time or distance learning student, you’ll have access to the same study and support services available to our full-time students, including  the library, online resources, our careers service, student support and more.

You may be eligible to apply for a government-backed loan of up to £10,000 if you are a UK or EU national and plan to start a full-time, part-time or distance learning taught or research master's degree. At the University of Salford, we also offer a range of scholarships, bursaries and discounts to help support you during your postgraduate studies. These include the Vice Chancellor’s Excellence Scholarship, worth up to £4000, and a 25% loyalty discount for returning students.
