Lots of our postgraduate programmes offer multiple intakes throughout the year, so depending on the course you're interested in you could start your studies in September 2024 or January 2025. Find out more at our next Open Day.

Three good reasons to choose us...

1.

Many of our students have secured placements in impressive companies like IBM, Nissan and Umbro. Choose a postgraduate course at the University of Salford and get opportunities to gain industry experience while you study.

2.

Changing direction? Discover courses you could study with a good first degree in any area. We offer nearly 50 master’s courses for students with a good first degree in any subject, so you don’t need to have previously studied in a related area to apply.

3.

If you’ve got a business idea we’ll support you to develop it. So far we’ve awarded £40,000 of funding to Launch Entrepreneurs, have supported 600 students with enterprise training, and have helped 65 students to start their own business.

Cutting edge facilities

Between 2020 and 2023 we invested £120 million in buildings, facilities and industry standard equipment. This includes a new Science and Engineering building, investment in our teaching and learning facilities, and cutting-edge industry collaboration facilities including Energy House 2 and the North of England Robotics Innovation Centre.
