Your international opportunities
If you are looking to acquire global skills, the international opportunities available to you are endless. Throughout the year we advertise short-term experiences and work placements abroad, scholarships, international activities on campus and a lot more.
Take a look at some of our past and current opportunities below.
Please note: these opportunities are offered and managed by third-party providers. Given the current COVID-19 pandemic and global health crisis, the University of Salford is not allowing students to take part in any international opportunities for the remainder of 2020, other than virtual opportunities and internationalisation at home initiatives, i.e. no mobilities involving travel are allowed. Students who choose to take part in these opportunities do so at their own risk but are asked to keep the University of Salford’s recommendation in mind and to follow UK government advice on foreign travel. The University of Salford does not endorse these initiatives and students taking part do so independently, without our approval.
Explore current international opportunities from work and research placements abroad to summer schools and even virtual experiences. We're always looking out for different options to make sure all our students and staff can become global citizens.
