What can I do with a Physiotherapy degree?
I had a huge amount of work experience over 1000 hours. I did placements in the NHS and in professional sport. I worked in 3 different hospitals, 1 outpatient NHS Physio clinic, and at Burnley Football Club which was amazing and the highlight of my degree. The degree prepared me very well for what life is like as a new Physiotherapist. Once I was working, the transition was easy. The soft skills that I learnt on my University degree was the most useful. Salford placed a big emphasis on the interpersonal skills that can really make a huge difference when working as a Physio.
After graduating, I moved to Singapore to work in a government hospital to work as a junior Physiotherapist. I'm not working in a busy outpatient clinic as an Outpatient Musculoskeletal Physiotherapist. As my career progresses, I want to primarily focus on return to sport testing and rehabilitation.
