Becoming Unstoppable: Your Journey to Salford
Applying to University can be daunting, so we're here to help. Join us for our Becoming Unstoppable series, where we will be sharing information, top tips and more on a range of subjects. We will be discussing the UCAS process, personal statements and interviews as well as giving you plenty of opportunities for you to ask questions.

Our online events will be taking place on the following dates:

Becoming Unstoppable
Understanding UCAS | Thursday 19 October, 16:00 - 17:00
Join us to learn more about UCAS, the different ways to use it, key times and dates throughout the year and what you’ll need to navigate through the process smoothly. Our recruitment team will be on hand to put your minds at ease and answer any questions.

How to Apply | Thursday 26 October, 16:00 - 17:00
Get an insight into the University of Salford application process with this interactive session, hosted by our recruitment team. We will discuss what the application process looks like, what you will need to provide, what support we can give you and how this differs per course.

Your Personal Statement | Thursday 16 November, 16:00 - 17:00
In this session, we will be discussing all things personal statements: what they are, what needs to be included, and how the content can differ per course. We will be using our years of experience to share what it is universities are looking for within a personal statement, and how you can give them what they want!

Interviews and Portfolios | Thursday 30 November, 16:00 - 17:00
You may be asked to attend an interview or submit a portfolio as part of our application process. Join us for this session where we'll talk you through what is expected, our top tips and which courses require an interview or portfolio.
General Q&A | Thursday 14 December, 16:00 - 17:00

Parents and Supporters Talk | Thursday 18 January, 16:00 - 17:00
As the parents, carers and supporters of our applicants, we recognise the vital role that you play in supporting them in their decision-making. We want to ensure that you feel comfortable in this role and to provide you with some key pieces of information to help you support them in this transition period into higher education.
