Turn your idea into a reality. Crowdfunding is coming to Salford!
Want the opportunity to turn your idea into a reality? The University’s crowdfunding hub, FundUS, needs YOU and your project for the exciting re-launch of this digital fundraising stream
The University of Salford has launched FundUS, which allows students or societies to raise funds for their exciting projects. Crowdfunding is the practice of funding a project or venture by raising money from a large number of people who each contribute a relatively small amount, typically via the Internet. This is an excellent way for you to raise donations for the projects that you have always wanted to do for example purchasing new equipment for your society or the completion of a trip.
Crowdfunding is a new and quickly growing market that is transforming the way people use their time and money. It can be a valuable form to marketing and builds community around your project, creating long-lasting enthusiastic advocates of your brand. Crowdfunding can also be fast way to raise funds with no upfront cost and FundUS allows everybody to track the progress of the project, weather you are a creator or a sponsor.
Why get involved? Crowdfunding can be an enterprise opportunity which will allow you to explore and practise a range of transferable skills such as to pitch a business idea to a panel of industry professionals, master skills in digital marketing and many more which will look great on your CV.
Crowdfunding is a fantastic and rewarding way to show the world the skills of Salford students!
