Try out the digital course that’s approved by Buckingham Palace

A new online programme that aims to develop your digital and enterprise skills for free has been given the royal seal of approval.

The Duke of York’s Inspiring Digital Enterprise Award (iDEA) is an interactive programme that improves your digital, enterprise and employability skills through fun and engaging challenges.

There are currently two levels to aim for – Bronze and Silver – and you receive a certificate from Buckingham Palace, no less, when you reach each stage. The Gold award will be available later this year.

Points are required to achieve the Bronze and Silver standard and you receive these by completing badges of your choice that take around five to ten minutes.

Just like the certificates, the badges are yours to keep so you can show off the skills you’ve learnt to future employers.

You can do this at your own pace, on your computer, phone or tablet.
