Student Volunteers Needed For Women's Aid UK Fundraising Event
We are holding a fundraising event for Women’s Aid UK on Saturday 21st October in the M30 area - approximately a 10 minute drive from the university campus. The event will run from 12pm-3pm, however we will require volunteers from 11am – 4pm (potentially earlier) in order to help us set up and clear away.
The event itself is entirely organised by students at the university, who have a genuine interest in the work that Women’s Aid do! We are currently looking for help from students who have a genuine interest in Women’s Aid, not just from those who want something to put on their CV. Women’s Aid is a charity which is extremely close to our own hearts, therefore we want to make sure that this event is the best it can possibly be. We will need students who are willing to help on the day, making food/serving food, and interacting with people who are in attendance to raise awareness of the cause and raise as much as we possibly can. There are opportunities to help in the run up to the event too, such as help with organisation and ideas which could improve the lay out of the event.
Ideally, we would like to speak to students about their involvement prior to them actually becoming involved, to ensure that we both benefit from the event as much as possible. We are looking to start working with you as soon as possible for the event – so if this sounds like something you’d like to be involved in, please get in touch today!!
If you would like to get involved, please contact Georgia Page at firstname.lastname@example.org
I look forward to hearing from you!
