Student Diaries – fellow students share their study experience and tips
How did you feel before you started studying at university? What helped you to overcome your anxieties? Was it daunting walking into your first large lecture?
Student Diaries is a new blog that helps to address questions like these and many more. We invited new students to share their experience of their first year of studying at University. Anne, Dave, Dominic, Jess and Lauren have written about all sorts of things from first week excitement, week three wobbles, juggling, and making use of all the support available.
Knowing that others are facing challenges and reading how they overcame them could provide you with much needed reassurance and support. You can follow our student bloggers as they get to grips with studying at University, via the Student Diaries blog http://blogs.salford.ac.uk/digital-literacy-skills/student-diaries/ and on Twitter @skillupUS
If you would like to share your own study journey on a regular basis or as a one off, please get in touch by emailing firstname.lastname@example.org. Salfood are kindly giving each blogger a free hot drink for each post and the Library is offering a £20 Amazon voucher for your 10th post. You could even be in with a chance of winning our Blogger of the Year Award!
