Preparing for exams

Exam time can bring extra pressure and we know that the recent strike action may have added to these concerns for some of you. To make sure you have the support you need, we are increasing the availability of our Wellbeing Team.

If you are experiencing any stress or anxiety in relation to upcoming exams, please come along to one of the sessions the team is running in the coming weeks. More details are available below.

In addition, the Library runs sessions to help students prepare for examinations and other assessments. We would encourage you to find out about these here.

Managing anxiety around exams

12.30pm on 9 April, 16 April, 23 April and 30 April

A presentation by the Wellbeing team addressing some of the common issues experienced by students when facing the prospect of exams, particularly in light of the recent strike action.

Exam stress drop-in

11am on 10 April, 17 April, 24 April and 1 May

An opportunity to talk with a member of the Wellbeing team about your experiences of stress ahead of exams and ask any questions about how to best manage this.

Relaxation drop-in

3pm on 11 April, 18 April, 25 April and 2 May
