Learn more than what it means to be a leader. Learn how to lead

Sign up to take part in ‘Future Leader Experience’, a 3-day programme designed to develop your confidence and Cultural Intelligence (CQ) in leadership.

You will:

  • Meet leaders from a range of backgrounds and learn how they succeeded
  • Go behind the scenes of an organisation across different sectors
  • Develop your own solutions to real-life organisational challenges
  • Prepare yourself for life after graduation

Common Purpose, who are delivering the programme in many other universities nationwide, run the Future Leader Experience. Their expertly developed programme takes you out of the classroom and into the city to explore leadership in practice. Locations visited in previous programmes include Santander, Department for Education, KPMG, Big Lottery Fund, ITV and many more.

You will take part in challenging discussions with leaders and go behind the scenes of organisations, gaining hands-on experience through exploring the challenges they face. Whilst on the course you will also hear from senior industry professionals from the BBC, Ernst & Young, Laing O’Rouke and many more!
