Future Salford Fridays: Learn about our Digital Strategy and Campus Masterplan
What will the campus look like in ten years from now? Are we planning to get Microsoft 365 and how will it help me? Can we expect any new buildings soon? Get the answers to these questions and more at our Future Salford Friday sessions - a series of pop-ups with Digital IT and Estates.
Staff and students are invited to pop by to learn about our Campus Masterplan and One Digital Campus programme – both of which promise to transform the way we work and study here at Salford. There will be Microsoft 365 demos and sneak-peeks of what the campus will look like (hint – Fredrick Road campus is getting a new identity and Maxwell Hall is having a major makeover).
Chief Information Officer John Whitlow said: “Our digital programme has some projects starting over the next year and we’re looking forward to letting staff and students know about them. From rolling out Microsoft 365 to launching our CRM, there’s plenty to get excited about. I hope to see lots of you at the pop-ups.”
Director of Estates and Facilities Jason Challender adds: “2018 promises to be a really exciting year for Salford as we’re unveiling our transformational Campus Masterplan. The plans promise to create a truly distinctive place to work, live, study and visit, while improving the community and student experience. I’m pleased to say it’s as radical and ambitious as we are as a university. If you’d like to find out more please join us at the pop-ups.”
