Confidence through Comedy
A group of students have been learning the tricks of the trade from professional comedian Ruth Cockburn in order to enhance their confidence when giving presentations. The 7 week course, Confidence through Comedy, was the brainchild of Social Policy lecturer Caroline Jones and GTA Thomas Hurdsfield, who won funding from the Student Experience Enhancement project to run the sessions.
The final week consists of a free gig where the students will test their new found skills in front of an audience of staff and students. The gig takes place at 2:30pm, on 2nd May 2018, in MS193 (Mary Seacole Building, Allerton Campus), and is free and open to anyone to attend.
