Student Voice update
We would like to say a massive thank you to our final year undergraduate students for completing the National Student Survey (NSS). 59.70% of you have completed the NSS, which is up from 50.25% at the same time last year, but there is still time for the rest of you to complete this all-important survey and you can do this here.
Your Student’s Union President, Ceewhy Ochoga, has details on why this survey is so important in the video below where she is joined by Interim Dean of Students, Penny Renwick.
As well as the NSS survey for third year students, we also have the Salford Student Survey for first and second years to complete. This gives you the chance to tell us about your experience of life at Salford, helping us to respond to your student voice. Complete it here.
Our next prize drawer is for a limited edition Student Voice hoodie (below) so keep your eyes peeled to see if you are the lucky winner – be in it to win it by completing the survey!
Our Student Voice team will be out and about on campus to encourage you to complete the two surveys. Have a look at the dates and venues below and make sure you come along – free food will be included:
o Monday 6 – Thursday 9 March – We'll be joining the USSU who are promoting the USSU elections across all 3 campuses.
o Wednesday 15 March, MCUK, 11am – 1pm
o Thursday 23 March, Allerton reception, 12pm – 2pm
o Thursday 30 March, University House foyer, 12pm – 2pm
o Tuesday 25 April, University House foyer, 12pm – 2pm
A note on confidentiality
All data collected in both surveys is processed in accordance with the Data Protection Act 1998 and will be held securely. Your responses to the survey are strictly confidential, and all responses are anonymised before they are published.
The only time that confidentiality changes is in exceptional circumstances where there is evidence that you or others are at risk of harm. In this very rare case, we would use the response to protect those at risk.
