Launching at the University of Salford - a brand new business incubation centre on campus!

Launch @SalfordUni – a new business incubation centre is opening in the heart of Peel Park Campus in September 2018!

Do you have a brilliant idea, which you are developing into a business? Are you freelancing, using your skills that you developed at University? Then Launch @SalfordUni can support you with the important next steps. Offering free office space and business support – this new service will provide a support package to help you launch your business. 

To get your business on the right track, we have a comprehensive, FREE, 6-month support programme. Our Incubation Manager will work with you at every stage of your start-up journey providing vital opportunities for networking, mentorship and accessing funding. You will get started with an exclusive training Bootcamp, led by our team of experts, assigned a business mentor and you will have access to grants for vital start-up essentials such as software, insurances, licences, basic equipment or attendance at trade fairs.

The package provides hot-desking office space, located in the Maxwell building and includes workstations, reception area and private meeting spaces. As part of our new incubation centre you will also have access to a networking lounge where you can grab a coffee and make those all important business connections.  

We want to provide you with the best chances of making it in the business world and to make you feel part of a vibrant Manchester business community. This is why we will bring expert mentors, entrepreneurs and business support organisations on campus to provide you with excellent links to the industry. Our University leads the way in industry collaboration, and you can take advantage of our on campus state of the art facilities such as 3D printers and VR facilities.

Are you are Interested in being part of this exclusive programme?  Let us know by filling in a short Register of Interest form.  We will be contacting applicants in late May and will be inviting them to present their ideas to a panel in June, where we will select our first cohort. If successful, you will join the 6-month programme when it launches in September 2018, with an opportunity to stay in the space for total of 12 months based on progress reviews.
