Check out our programme for National Student Money Week

National Student Money (NSMW) takes place from Monday 06 February until Friday 10 February and we will be hosting a range of events to mark the occasion.

Created and supported by the National Association of Student Money Advisers (NASMA), National Student Money Week intends to raise awareness of financial capability among students.

Throughout the week we will have a stall in the foyer area of University House, where staff from Money Advice and Funds Service will talk to students about issues regarding finance planning, funding of studies and financial support offered by the University. Representatives from the Careers and Employability and Wellbeing teams will also be there to chat to you.

In addition to this, we have a range of events going on from Finance MOTs to CV writing sessions. We will also be running a number of competitions, which you can check out at the bottom of this article:

All Week – Students are able to book quick Finance MOT sessions and check with an adviser to see if they’re receiving all funding they are entitled to.

Representatives from TV Licensing and Manchester Student Homes will be on the stall in the University House Foyer (10am – 3pm).
