The University is open as usual today, Friday 2nd March 2018. We are aiming to run services as normal, however in the event of known cancellations we will make every effort to provide advance notice.

The University is mindful of the health and safety of all students and staff during the current adverse weather conditions and encourage you to be mindful of the relevant public services advice.

Please be assured that the Estates department has continued to work around the clock to ensure that all entry roads and car parks are kept clear of snow / ice and that building entry and exit points are safe. The Health and Safety team are monitoring the Met Office warnings and adjusting their assessment of risk accordingly.

We would encourage all staff and students to take personal responsibility for ensuring that they take no undue risk.

Any students with a planned session today should contact your tutor to discuss alternative arrangements if travel to campus proves impossible due to the weather.
