Since Grenfell Tower the tragedy in 2017, fire safety has been the hot topic at the forefront of health & safety and as a consequence, has come under intense scrutiny by the Hackitt Report and subsequent steering groups and committees.What is clear is that for some time regulations and industry competency have gone unchecked and it has taken a significant loss of life for the importance of the situation to be fully acknowledged.

Waste Management is one of the key problems of modern society due to the ever-expanding volume and complexity of discarded domestic and industrial waste. In December 2018, the Environment Secretary announced the government’s ambitious new Resources and Waste Strategy which sets out how they will preserve material resources by minimising waste, promoting resource efficiency and moving towards a circular economy in England.
