Guidance for engaging with online learning

To help you get the most from your studies, the University has produced Online Learning Guidance outlining how you are expected to engage with and conduct yourself in an online learning setting.

Overcoming procrastination

In Overcoming procrastination you will learn how to notice when you may be procrastinating, strategies you can use when you feel yourself procrastinating so that you can get started with, or continue, your tasks. You will also develop your own personal action plan to form a toolkit of strategies you can use when you experience procrastination.

Developing your confidence

In Developing your confidence for studying at University you will learn what academic confidence is, how confident you feel with your studies right now, tips for becoming more involved in your group, classes or research and you will create your own action plan of strategies to try to boost your study confidence.

Professional Communication

In Professional communication you will learn when and why to use different methods of communication, and how to develop communication skills to use throughout your studies and future career.

Estimated duration is 20 minutes.

Overcoming perfectionism

In Overcoming perfectionism you will learn how to identify perfectionism, strategies you can use when you feel yourself experiencing perfectionism so that you can get started with, or continue, your tasks. You will also develop your own personal action plan to form a toolkit of strategies you can use when you experience perfectionism.

How to benefit from feedback
