Michelle Heath studied HNC Construction and later obtained her master’s degree. She stayed in touch with her lecturer who had contacts with Barratt Group where she completed her placement and was offered a role as an Assistant Site Manager. As you can see, it’s a fast-moving sector which provides room for progression.

Charlotte France, a Salford Building Surveying alumna who graduated less than 10 years ago, is weeks away from achieving a milestone moment in her career that has seen her manage the construction of our new £65 million building. As a Project Manager, she is supervising the design of the building and detecting building defects.

Mitchell Bowden is currently in his final year combining part time study with his recent Trainee Site Manager role at Morgan Sindall Construction. After successfully completing his placement year on the site of our new SEE building, he has now landed a permanent role with the contractor.
