Steven Heales

Steven provides leadership for Greater Manchester's Innovation and Science Commercialisation Policy, influencing thinking at a national level as well as building strong relationships locally. 

Working as parts of Greater Manchester's Local Industrial Strategy Implementation team, his principal role is to drive up research and development investment for the city-region and to accelerate the commercialisation of research and innovation. 

Prior to joining the GMCA, Steven worked for Nottingham City Council.
