Are you a first year student struggling to get to grips with cooking for yourself? Or are you a returning student looking to brush up on your kitchen skills? Cooking is, without a doubt, one of the most important skills a person can ever learn and share. Once someone has that knowledge, that's it - they're set for life.
SALFOOD Cookery School are offering students the opportunity to learn more about how to cook healthy and nutritious meals on a budget with our short cookery courses delivered by the Salford Health Improvement Service.
You’ll make two new recipes a week, giving you real hands-on experience, and then sit down to eat what you’ve prepared – meaning dinner is sorted for the night too! This is a great opportunity to meet new people and have fun. The course is designed to boost confidence and develop students’ culinary skills and knowledge of cooking, giving them the ability, inspiration and enthusiasm to whip up delicious, affordable meals for flatmates, family and friends.
The course will take place on Monday 4 April 2016. It will run for a period of 4 weeks, every Monday 4.00pm-6.00pm in the Bryant Suite in the Allerton Building.

On signing up you will have to pay a £10 deposit to secure your place which covers the full four weeks of the course.
As places are limited to 8, we highly recommend booking early, to avoid disappointment.
