Community name: Thatimakulapalli
Location: Andhra Pradesh
This community previously relied on an overhead tank for their water supplies. Due to the insufficient water supply from the government, exacerbated by frequent power cuts, members of the community would go without water, or power, for many days at a time.
Through the sales of Life Water in Salfood outlets, Salford University and Chartwells have together provided the Thatimakulapalli community with access to safe clean water.
This project is Chartwells’ 37th clean water project, which has changed the lives of over 46,000 people, an amazing achievement!
