Designing a sustainable social model of inclusion for Gypsies and Travellers

Summary

Ola started her PhD study with SHUSU in July 2015. Her research is centered on developing a sustainable social model of inclusion for Gypsies and Travellers which draws on Lean Operational Management. Ola worked as Project Manager, Sales, Marketing & Operation Manager and senior Engineer with over 11 years of comprehensive large-scale Project Management and engineering experience in Sustainable design and Energy Industry. She is working with the local community on a non-profit basis on a variety of projects revolving around assisting communities become resource sustainable and save energy. Organising events and trips are among many of the different roles she has undertaken.

Research Interests

International sustainability, environmental standards & operations, ecologies, supply chain, logistics, waste management, critical thinking, environmental justice, social justice , environment planning ,Gypsies and Travellers and social welfare.
