Biography

I qualified as an occupational therapist in 1994, specializing in community care practice and the use of housing modifications to support the health and wellbeing of individuals. In 2011 I gained an MSc in Accessibility and Inclusive Design with distinction. Presently, I completing an EPSRC-sponsored PhD with SURFACE, investigating the process used by occupational therapists when modifying home environments. In September 2015 I joined the occupational therapy teaching team at the University of Salford.
