Biography
Nirodha joined the University of Salford in March 2018. Prior to joining the University of Salford, she was a Senior Lecturer at the Northumbria University, UK. She conducted lectures for Quantity Surveying degree programme at the Northumbria University. She has over 15 years of experience as an academic in the Higher Education sector both in the UK and in Sri Lanka. Nirodha obtained her doctoral degree in Built Environment at the University of Salford in 2011. She completed her undergraduate degree from University of Moratuwa, Sri Lanka with a First Class Honours degree in Quantity Surveying in 2003. Nirodha has published several refereed journal papers and international conference papers. She was the scientific committee Co-chair for the world Construction Symposium, organised by Ceylon Institute of Builders (CIOB) and University of Moratuwa, Sri Lanka and Sponsored by CIB from 2013- 2015. Nirodha has organised a number of International research conferences.
