Biography
Niamh is currently working as a Post-Doctoral Research Assistant on a project with the Ministry of Defence. Niamh’s research involves investigating the sex differences in the biomechanics of load carriage. Niamh first came to the University of Salford in 2014 for her PhD, which focused was on developing a series of simple computational models of distance running. While at the University of Salford Niamh has also worked closely with the Running Performance Clinic on several projects looking at the biomechanics of running and running-related injuries.
