Current positions

Research Assistant

I have been at the University of Salford for about four years. Initially I was working towards my PhD, which focused was on developing a series of simple computational models of distance running. On completion of my PhD I started a position as a research assistant working with the Ministry of Defence investigating the sex differences in the biomechanics of load carriage. While at the University of Salford I have also worked closely with the Running Performance Clinic on a number of projects looking at the biomechanics of running and running related injuries.

Research Interests

  • Biomechanics of loaded walking
  • Biomechanics of running
