My academic interests focus on midwifery practice and policy, strategic leadership, risk management, qualitative research methodologies, and I continue to teach at every level on undergraduate and taught postgraduate midwifery and leadership programmes.

I supervise postgraduate students. I lead Practice 7 and 8 on the BSc Hons Midwifery and will colead a new leadership and advovacy module from January 2018
