Lecturer Adult Nursing
Was trained in France as a General Nurse then worked in a variety of specialties before moving to USA and then Montreal (Canada) where I worked in Cardiology and intensive care units. 13 years ago I started lecturing to nursing students and my passion for pedagogy has never stop growing during all that time. England is the 4th country I live in and I feel lucky to have had this international experience both professionally and personally.
When in Canada I taught in variety of modules and lead modules in 1st, 2nd and 3rd years. However I have developed a strong interest in Gerontology and Geriatrics.
- My view of teaching includes focusing on students needs with benevolence.
- My pedagogical philosophy is based on socio-constructivism theory and allowing creativity, autonomy and application of knowledge for each student.
